Goal          † top

  • In order to provide a forum for members and enable them to advance professionally through networking and other valuable programming, alumni chapters are developed geographically. In September 2005, the Hong Kong Alumni Chapter was officially established.
  • The ultimate aim of HKBGS is to provide an opportunity for our alumni to share their experiences, exchange views and be in touch with the pulse of the local and worldwide business environment. We also plan to strengthen the business community through mentorship programs for business students, educational and executive forums, and scholarship and achievement awards.

Mr Eric Li, Chairman & CEO of Kowloon Dairy Ltd.

"BGS is one of the most prestigious student associations I have joined and am very proud to be part of it.  There are a number of other honour societies which I have been invited to join during my undergraduate studies, but I can still remember my extreme pleasure when I received the invitation to join BGS during my MBA study in US.  I am also glad that we have this alumni network set up in HK after being member for more than 50 years!"

Professor Francis Lui, Director of HKUST Centre for Economic Development, President of the HKUST Chapter of BGS

"A Beta Gamma Sigma membership is an honor that provides a lifetime of benefits and recognition. The BGS network boasts 540,000 business and management professionals worldwide and that's very elite company. I am pleased to see the setting up of the Hong Kong Alumni Chapter which complements the two local chapters and provides yet more excellent opportunities to foster personal and professional connections among all BGS members in Hong Kong."

Professor Lee Tien-Sheng, Dean of Faculty of Business Administration CUHK, President of the CUHK Chapter of BGS

"With the establishment of HKBGS, our students and graduates would be excited to have an opportunity to join an even stronger network, which includes graduates from renowned universities in the US and other parts of the world. We shall work together to develop a new generation of forward-thinking, decisive, and innovative business leaders in the years to come."
