The first event in the year of OX, we have the honor to have wine consultant from a well-established wine consulting services company, to share with us the basic knowledge on wines and to introduce you a variety of specially selected high quality wines from Australia and France.
Snacks will be provided along with wines. This is a great opportunity for all BGS and HKBGS alumni members to meet and taste wines in a cozy environment. You can also enjoy special discount on wine purchase after the session. You are most welcome to bring along your friends to this special event! | Blend: Cabernet Sauvignon 60%, Merlot 30%, Malbec 10% Deep, bright ruby red. Ripe varietal blackcurrant, cherry and black fruit aromas abound. There is a hint of mint and clove spice with seasoned oak in support. The fleshy, ripe tannins are well supported by rich blackcurrant and redcurrant fruit and chocolate flavours. A medium to full-bodied wine with good balance, structure and integration of oak. Chateau Haut Bertinerie 2003 (France) Classified: AOC Blend: Merlot 60%, Cabernet Sauvignon 40% Intense color, nose of red berries with hints of coffee and spice (mocha, vanilla, cinnamon and liquorice). Rich, tannic structure and great aromatic expression on the palate. Fine and elegant with great ageing potential. Powerful, with a superb unctuous finish coming through. A great wine.
