October Activity – Volunteering at Storyland Hans Andersen Club in Wong Tai Sin

Dear HKBGS Alumni and BGS Members,

Do you want to spare two hours to read stories with children and help them make a drama? Let’s join our first volunteering activity in October! We are recruiting volunteers to assist in paired reading and drama activity for children at Storyland Hans Andersen Club in Wong Tai Sin. There is no preparation needed. Just come with a joyful heart. You may start to find more volunteer opportunities there!

Background of  Hans Andersen Club

The Hans Andersen Club (HAC) is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) that provides practical help and support for the well-being of children and young people in Hong Kong regardless of race, nationality and religion. Currently, HAC operates five centres in Hong Kong. Services such as tutoring, counselling, uniformed group activities, support programmes for newly-arrived immigrant families, training workshops for parents, as well as social services to the local schools are offered.

FREE OF CHARGE for HKBGS members, BGS members and guests. 

REGISTRATION: RVSP has been closed due to the our limit on the no. of volunteers. Members will who have registered for this event will receive a confirmation email to inform if their application is successful or not. Walk-in will not be entertained.
