| HKUST Chapter - 8th BGS Induction Ceremony |
The HKUST Chapter held its 8th member induction ceremony on 1 December 2007 on its campus. Our alumni chapter president, Tommy Chan, was invited to join the ceremony and introduced to all those newly inducted BGS members by the HKUST chapter president, Prof. Tam Kar Yan.
At the ceremony, two prominent business leaders were inducted as the chapter honorees who achieve personal excellence in the practice of business. They are Dr. Edgar W.K. Cheng, GBS, JP, the Chairman of the World-Wide Investment Co Ltd, and Dr. Allan Zeman, GBS, JP, the Chairman of Lan Kwai Fong Holdings Limited and the Chairman of Ocean Park. In addition, there were a total of 76 graduates and 35 undergraduate candidates inducted to BGS at the ceremony to honor their academic achievements. Congratulatins to all newly inducted BGS members by the HKUST chapter and welcome to this big BGS family!
